CROSSBOW showcases trial results at the 14th Symposium on Power System Management (CIGRE)

At the online 14th Symposium on Power System Management (CIGRE), which took place on November 9-13, HOPS, NOSBIH and University of Manchester partners presented the recent results under the CROSSBOW project under the article Provision of the experiments by coordination of demand-side response units in the region of southeast Europe within the CROSSBOW project – HOPS case.

The experiments in the power grid to connected transmission system operators, HOPS, and NOSBiH were done to test the level of flexibility of  Demand Side Management (DSM) units. The analyse includes activation of DSM units with a request to decrease its demand in the period of low consumption, measuring the power, voltage, and current at specific power lines/busses, and switching from the interconnected power line in specific time periods.
