First steps in the RES-DU product demonstration
On September 1st, the preliminary demonstration stage for RES-DU product officially started at the ICCS Lab in Athens (Greece). During this stage, renewable assets (photovoltaic and wind farm) and a storage unit (lithium-ion battery) were managed according to the RES-DU instructions in order to demonstrate the proper operation of the product under different circumstances. The execution of these tests was performed by ICCS, in cooperation with partners KONCAR, ETRA, and COBRA.
The following figure shows an example of the Lab operation based on RES-DU support.
The demonstration period will continue until midle October. Once completed this stage, a detailed analysis will be carried out in order to identify the points of improvement before the final demonstrations stage.
