D8.4 Cyber Security communication procedures and impact of disruption events

This Deliverable provides an overview of the cybersecurity regulatory framework and the obligations for the transmission system operators which are emerging from this framework. Based on investigation on past incidents in the energy sector as well as relevant standards and guidelines, the document provides recommendations on improvement of cybersecurity framework on TSO level. It also discusses the current cybersecurity practices for power plants and recommendations for their establishment and improvement. Furthermore, the functionalities of CROSSBOW products related to cybersecurity are presented, focusing on the wide area monitoring and awareness system as well as on the novelties introduced by the implemented blockchain technologies in the ancillary market product.
