New workshop in North Macedonia

On 17th October, CROSSBOW organises a new workshop under the title “Operational and Market Challenges in Connected Power Systems with Increased Share of Renewables” in Skopje (North Macedonia).

The event is organised by the Cyril And Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM), Electricity Transmission System Operator of Macedonia (MEPSO) and the State Owned Joint Stock Company For Production Of Electricity Power Plants Of Macedonia Skopje (ELEM).

Stakeholders from different power sectors (TSO, DSO, Market operator, producers, suppliers and academia) will participate in the workshop to address subjects like regulatory challenges and regional integration of the electricity market of North Macedonia, operational and control challenges, regional balancing market in South East Europe, RES integration in electricity market, among others.

But also, the workshop will present the SmartGrid lab as a Test Site for the CROSSBOW Project Demonstration, the Hybrid RES Dispatchable Units of CROSSBOW, as well as, other solutions from the project.
