Major improvements on the Individual Grid Model (IGM) Quality Assessment
During October 2020, EMS partner released a new software version for Individual Grid Model (IGM) Quality Assessment with major improvements.
This software is critical for the implementation of the CROSSBOW Regional Operation Centre Balancing Cockpit (ROC-BC) product, since several regional processes require proper quality of IGM (e.g. creation of Common Grid Models, Security Analyses, Cross-Border Capacity Calculations).
In the current software version, EMS succeeded to reduce IGM inaccuracies up to 50%. Fine-tuning of the software is continuous, aiming to reach the highest possible level of accuracy in the final demonstration stage of the CROSSBOW project.
