D5.1 Modelling of non-dispatchable RES and analysis on storage alternatives to support Hybrid RES

This deliverable introduces the static and dynamic models of non-dispatchable and dispatchable renewable generation, as well as battery energy storage technologies that will be included in the model of hybrid renewable energy source plant. The models provide a basis for the development of an advanced control algorithm of the whole hybrid plant that will enable firm and flexible power production at the point of common coupling. The document describes the major economic costs of the analysed technologies and presents the preliminary configuration of the graphical user interface for the hybrid plant control system.
