CROSSBOW participates in the European Utility Week 2019
CROSSBOW will participate in the European Project Zone hosted at European Utility Week & POWERGEN Europe (EUW & PGE), next 12-14 November in Paris.
This initiative is endorsed by the European Commission and aims at showcasing the research and findings of projects focusing at supporting the energy transition.
CROSSBOW was identified by the EU Commission as being very relevant and appropriate to participate in this zone. Besides, the project will participate in other activities to confirm soon.
EUW & PGE strive to become a vehicle to facilitate the energy transition. The event is a reflection of the current market which affects utilities and energy companies and involves the whole value chain that rotates around them, including new market entrants (such as prosumers and IPPs) as well as buildings and large energy consumers. With the energy industry currently experiencing a revolution, businesses are adjusting to new business models and promoting innovation. Digitalisation, partnerships, customer centricity, energy efficiency, storage, cyber security, e-mobility, energy commerce all play a key role in facilitating this change.
One of the event’s role is to offer this industry a platform to showcase solutions, discuss topics coherent with EU strategy to achieve a smooth transition towards a low carbon energy supply. It also fosters innovation and encourages young talent, offers expert knowledge and foresight from hundreds of industry leaders.
