CROSSBOW and TRINITY organise together an Energy Talk at the EUSEW 2021

CROSSBOW project participates at the Networking Village of the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2021 (EUSEW 2021), the biggest event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe. This year’s EUSEW will take place online on 25-29 October 2021 and bring together leading professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts in the field.

On 26th October, CROSSBOW together with and TRINITY project will organise the talk “Incorporating high penetration of Renewable Energy Sources into the power grid thanks to EU-funded innovations”. The innovative approach of both projects for short-term adequacy assessment coordinated on a regional level in Southeast Europe will help the activities of incorporating high penetration levels of variable and intermittent RES into the power grid across Europe. In a 10-minute speech, participants could find out how those projects are developing an innovative approach for short-term Regional Adequacy Assessment (RAA), based on: variability of the load; demand-side management/response; variability and intermittency of renewables; probability of unplanned outages of dispatchable units; probability of interconnectors outages; cross-border flow-based approach; market transactions optimization; security analysis; transparency among others.

Besides, CROSSBOW will participate in the virtual exhibition as part of the ETRA I+D booth, from 25 to 29 October 2021.

Alongside the Policy Conference, the event features a prestigious Awards Ceremony and the second edition of the European Youth Energy Day, as well as a Networking Village, which will help you to engage with the EUSEW community. There will also be a series of locally organised Sustainable Energy Days, taking place throughout September and October, allowing individuals and communities to organise digital activities and events across Europe to promote clean energy and energy efficiency. Each of these elements offers ample opportunities to get involved, join the conversation and make the EUSEW community stronger and more exciting than ever.

We encourage you to register as soon as possible to ensure your attendance at this key event.
